Content Policy
Saybrush is for editing your photos, including photos of real people: retouching, new backgrounds, lighting, style changes and similar edits. This page explains what isn’t allowed and how we enforce it. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Not allowed
- Nudity, undressing or sexualized edits of anyone, real or not.
- Any sexual or sexualized content involving minors. We report child sexual abuse material we become aware of, as the law requires.
- Deceptive deepfakes: putting real people into made-up scenes to mislead others, such as fake endorsements, fake evidence or fake political content.
- Graphic violence, content that encourages self-harm, and threats against people or groups.
- Photos you don’t have the right to use, or edits that infringe someone else’s rights.
Saybrush doesn’t offer face swapping.
How we check edits
Every edit goes through three automated checks:
- Your photo, when you upload it.
- Your prompt, together with the photo, before the edit starts.
- The result, before we show it to you.
If a check fails, we stop. Blocked photos and results are never stored; we only keep a record that the check failed and which category it matched. If you were charged a credit for that edit, it is returned.
Automated checks make mistakes and can block an ordinary photo. If that happens, try rewording your prompt or using a different photo. The editing model can also decline an edit on its own; that returns your credit too.
Repeated blocks
We count blocked checks over the last 30 days:
- 3 blocks: your account is limited to a few edits per hour. The limit lifts as blocks age past 30 days.
- 10 blocks: your account is paused until a person reviews it. We then restore it or close it. Email support@saybrush.com to ask for a review.
Without an account, repeated blocks only limit how often you can edit. Declines by the editing model don’t count toward these numbers.
